TT3 GPS Screen

First post to this great site, but I've been a reader for a while now.

I've Just acquired my kit (TTBT GPS, TT3 and 4150). Got it all set up fine and it even navigated me to work this morning.

While it's on my desk, I've been poking around with it and have a few questions related to the GPS screen, hope you can help.

1. The acquired satellite bars are red/ grey, what do these colour changes mean?

2. Does the compass in the top right of the screen work whilst stationary. It doesn't seem to change as I rotate the Receiver.

3. In the GPS tab what is the PDA icon for?

1. Red means that it is giving information to enable a fix, grey means that the receiver can see it, but for some reason (eg too weak) it'snot being used for position calculation
2. The compass is nothing to do wih receiver orientation, it is telling you which way you are moving
3. Pass! I haven't got my PDA to hand at the moment and I don't remember that icon
