There are install instructions in the download, a better link to get it is here.
I've updated the compatibility page with this link. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Doesn't the install guide that accompanies the files help? I don't have a Nokia phone so can't help, sorry. _________________ Darren Griffin |

doesn't really tell you how the file installs?
do i just copy the files to my phone?
do i have to unzip them to hard drive first?
the sis files do nothing when i unzip them? |

The .sis file is a Nokia application installer format so I'd guess you DO NOT unzip that.
You'd need to use the Nokia PC software to install it I'd guess but you may be better asking on a Nokia forum _________________ Darren Griffin |

You can install them using PC Suite or Ovi Suite. I prefer to install them manually by copying the sis files to a temp folder on my memory card and then using any file manager (xplore is my preferred) click on the sis file and it should take you through the install procedures for each file.
I see the package contains some slightly different files from when I last tried it but it does the same thing.
My problem with it when I tried it on a N95 was the speed (or lack of) when loaded with the full PocketGPS speedcamera database |

My first thought was where are you getting speedcam data from that has a comma at the end of the file as ours does not?
Then, looking at our data, assuming you are using it, it appears that Speedcam may be stripping the direction column from the data but leaving the comma.
If you email me your speedcam download as obtained from us, I will remove the directional data and the comma and send back to you to re-test. _________________ Darren Griffin |

from here Darren, where else? the Speedcam file i have has commas at the end of ALL the files that are rejected and i'm sure this has only happened since the December updates
whats your email or can i just delete the commas on the rejected files OR is there text missing after the commas? |

those cameras you posted don't have directional data, hence the last field is blank.
without having the app to test i would need to know how it handles '0' as a direction. does it ignore it as a 'none value'? does it use 360 for due north?
can you change the direction details of a local camera to '0' and see if it alerts from any direction?
my initial thoughts are that the developer should update the app to handle 'empty' values without error. however, in case that doesn't happen we could do with trying to create files you can use!!
