I have just pruchased a TT XL (squared) and there are NO saftey camera positions installed on it, NOR will TT HOME2 let me download them.......can anyone shed any light on this ? |

Not sure, but if you havent already used the Latest Map Guarantee I recommend waiting until the new maps are out should be this week or next week. |

Did it advertise that it had the TomTom-supplied camera data?
If not, you won't have got it. It is a subscription service, but you usually get a trial version on a new machine.
Unfortunately, the "squared" bit of the model name means you have got the "dumbed down" 'edition 2' of the XL and that means it's missing the Manage POI menu required to put the much better camera data from this site on it.
Luckily, you can do a mod to re-enable the missing menu items (although it means you have to do without a couple of the existing ones).
Try a forum search for "custom menu".
EDIT - Actually, I think there's now a software update to re-enable that menu as well.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
