Tried my best to find out, even getting a bit snippy with the last one. Answers ranged from "we only know what the engineer's put in the notes" to the final one: We can't tell you, it's proprietary.
But I have seen at least one improvement. How's your map scrolling? _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |

I have not noticed any difference with the map scrolling but it always seem fine to me.
The lack of clarity on the purpose of the update does seem rather bizarre. |

I suppose they rely on the fact that 90% of users have no idea what the firmware is or does so an expanation is not really relevant to them. _________________ David
