I have a New / unused Trumpion that my Son bought some years ago. It's been in a wardrobe ever since pending both a decent car,,,, and somewhere to go. He's gone to Thailand, so told me to use it.
I have turned it on and it's on charge.
It seems to work alright, but I'm guessing that things will need updating,,,, but what ?
What should be updated and what can still be updated ?
It has a Route 66 disk with it, but I don't know if it's installed. I guess even that will need updating.
ROM: 17C.YF.3.Q.1023
Software: V2.0.0.10.20.
Can I update Speed Cameras ? If so, Is it to the unit, or the Route 66 ?

The unit you have will be running Route 66 version 7 which is quite dated by now, the maps are at least 4 years old. AFAIK there isn't a way to update the maps, Route 66 had a credible product with version 7 but re-wrote the application for version 8 and its nothing like it used to be, to be honest the version 8 isn't worth bothering with IMHO.
You can install the Speed Camera database from this site, clcik Here for a guide on what you need to do - Mike
