Screen on hp2210 not good vs Medionppc

Help I dont like the screen on my new hp2210!
Compared to the Medionppc screen it is awful. It is paler,washed out and has a blue/green tinge to it.
I also notice a faint horizontal banding/lines across the screen whereas the Medionppc is flat complete colour.
The Medionppc screeen is sharp rich cloured and a warmer hue. The 2210 is a pale comparison.

In internet explorer the 2210 scrren shows pictuires in low res like the graphics card is set to 256 colours.

Please help before I take the 2210 back.

I hope I've got a duff one because otherwise I really like the unit. I wanted it for the bluetooth and the extra cf slot.
