Ignore him, he's just a cynic - you get them in the South East sometimes.
But I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so there's no way I'm downloading a critical update - I'll wait for the new maps next week. _________________ Dennis

Yeah, but have you gone into your kitchen and checked if your toaster still works?

Hey - South East Northumberland is not in the south east of england
I am a geordie (moved north a few miles) and proud of it

Critical my a4se!
More important/critical is for them to remove 9.054 availablity for x40's.
Surely it ain't rocket science to stop this STILL being offered (to those who don't know any better)?
TTHQ...are you listening? No, probably not.

If memory serves, the last time we had an update to Home it was to fix a problem with broken maps? Perhaps this one is a precursor to a fix for the broken v9 operating software? |

They usually issue a new Home when they are getting close to new Maps and/or Navcore. Goes to show how stable Home is if it can't handle new releases without being rewritten or patched or something. I'm just sorry the new maps will come out whilst I'm away - I don't have the nerve to try Home in Greece and the free internet cafe is only 20 minutes' worth anyway. _________________ Dennis

I just put your postcode into my three satnavs, then follow the one which says the shortest distance. Life's a blast visiting new and strange places all the time. _________________ Dennis
