First visit for a long time, good to see you`re still going strong. I`m using a TT one, the first of them and it has a 2 gig card with all of Europe on it. I would like a larger screen and still be able to enter my own poi`s, speed camera`s etc. I`m not bothered about the live feature. Thinking about getting a refurbed unit, which one and any reason why i shouldn`t ?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Dennis. |

No reason why you shouldn't get a refurb. As a Go fan, I vote for 530, 730 or 930 depending upon which maps you require.
Very cheap on the online TT outlet store at the moment. try the promo code TOMTOM345 for a further 8pounds off if the offer is still running. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

As stated before i ordered and received a refurbed Go930. I spent 3 days trying to charge it but could only get it to the halfway mark and within minutes it would drop to the orange zone.
I contacted TomTom who said it would have to be returned for repair ! If it was broke why did they send it. I declined the "repair" and opted for a refund.I received a returns note and sent it back immediately on the 27th July. I had heard nothing by the 5th August so again contacted them to be told the refund was "in process". Having still heard nothing i again contacted them yesterday the 10th to be told i would have my refund in a few days. This morning i received an email stating that they had not received the unit and would i send proof of dispatch. |
