The Haicom's are relatively OK. (the ones that swivel). Generally I don't like CF GPS. Here's why:

Problem with CF is that
- it occupies the best (fastest, most stable) memory card slot
- most of the antennas are fix and cannot be directed to the sky without conflicting with you looking at the screen
- same is true for the positioning. If you want the PDA closer to your face then the antenna may not have a good skyview
- it consumes energy from the Pocket PC
- sometimes it requires a special driver to make the port recognized by the Pocket PC
- it extends the size of the Pocket PC, and prevents usage of water tight boxes (otter box etc)

I would not use a CF receiver in the car (except with external antenna). If at all then it may have some benefits for outdoor use, but not too many.
