|
|
Hi all!
I bit the bullet and loaded my TTN3 upgrade using just what came on the disc - I've not upgraded any of the drivers etc from the TTN3 disc versions.
Used it for the first time on Wednesday and it took 10 minutes from cold to pick up any sats!
I did a soft reset to make sure no running programmes were preventing it working and it took a further 5 minutes to pick up any sats!
I've used it 3 times since and everytime it takes in excess of 5 minutes for the wired GPS Receiver to stop flashing red and pick up any sats.
Does anyone else have this problem?
TTN2 would be good to go in approximately 60 to 90 seconds from cold and I think this problem with TTN3 is unacceptable.
I've found myself parked up in London for over 5 minutes waiting for my route to be shown just because it won't pick up any sats
I'm using the HP 2210 if that makes any difference.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. |

Does your GPS receiver have a good view of the sky.and make sure that your car does not have one of these heat resisting windows, _________________ Iphone x 64gb IOS 11.3.1 / IPhone 6 Plus 32gb IOS 12 beta /Volkswagen Scirocco R 280 bhp /Suzuki Vitara swb vvt+ /Suzuki Jimny special/running Apple Mac Mini / Apple air/ iPhone x /6 plus navigation / Apple car-play |

Well this is my point really, I've been using TTN2 for 15 months without problems. The only thing that has changed is that I've loaded TTN3.
The cars the same, the siting location is the same so I see no reason for these problems |
