Postcode to POI

Hi All,

Its possible ive asked this question before, or it was apart of another thread somewhere which i may have tried but didnt have much luck with....

..but does anyone have any good software or know of websites to convert postcodes into POI locations?

I have a nice long list of them I would like converting, which would save me the job in doing them manually. I know postcodes dont `pinpoint` as such, I only need a guesstimate of the location.

There are certainly websites where you can do it one by one, (HERE'S ONE), but that's probably not much different to doing it on the TomTom itself (or via Home)?

There are also old POI files around of postcodes, from the days when TomToms didn't have the built in search. Try Googlong for them.

I think anything that can do a whole list of postcodes at once might fall foul of the Post Office's copyright on the codes.
I had a bookmark for a site that could do it, but it's dead now.

Yes that one worked on the few examples I tried, but lots of flaffing around cutting and pasting, was hoping for more of a bulk input/output system.

Just to clarify, im certainly not trying to convert the yellow pages, only a personal list of addresses.
