Can someone please help. When I installed app 8.351 last year I downloaded the 44x44 x2 icons and they were quite acceptable. I have just bought the latest 845.2645 Western Europe map, and, like others here, transferred my backed up mapsettings.cfg file which unfortunately triggered the boot-reboot cycle, so I had to delete it. I had then lost all my favourites and POI warnings.
I downloaded the latest speed camera database and installed it, together with the x2 bmp files. Unfortunately, these only show up on the screen as red squares. It's nearly 12 months since I got the large icons to work on my previous map and at my advanced age I have forgotten what else I had to do. Please somebody put me out of my misery!

I'm unsure from your post whether you have kept the small icons. For a start, copy all the ov2 and bmp files in the camera download to the folder with the map data. Not having the small icons can make the screen look as you have said. _________________ Gerry

Ah, thankyou. I only copied in the large icons, I didn't realise that the small ones had to be there as well. They were in my previous map folder before I downloaded the large ones, but although I didn't delete them I didn't know they still served a purpose. I'll put the small ones in as well later this evening and post the result
Thanks
Robin
Later addition. Gerry, after following your link, I remembered that the x2 icons I previously had were your specially adapted ones for v8.3, and the small ones were for showing the position of the cameras on the road. It all comes back to me now!!! _________________ TomTom One v3 Europe, Navcore 7.903, Western Europe 835.2420
