Sorry if this is someplace else on the forums , however, as important as it is in updating with new cameras, its just as important to update them once they are no longer in use.
To this end I have been on both sides of the M18 this weekend, the pgpsw specs camera warning are still in place for the entire length of the motorway, jnc 32/1 M1/M18 to to Jnc 7 M18 merge with M62. No cameras are there and the roadworks are complete and all restrictions removed. Can the powers that be update the database with this info?
Yes BUT.... it won't make a lot of difference, because as he says...

bandk please look at the site map, HERE and you'll see we have NO SPECS cameras on M18 between M1 and M62. I personally don't know when they were removed from the database, but the latest database update was last Wednesday - I have to presume you didn't download it.
Edit to add..... Actually I see you said last Wednesday that you downloaded the cameras at the weekend, so if you didn't download another update late Wednesday or Thursday, you will still have had the 13th January database - that one did still have I think, four specs cameras on the northern few (6?) miles of the M18. Note that the aim these days is to publish an update to the database every Wednesday - I think we've only missed a couple since we changed to weekly updates.
ALSO I've checked the TomTom cameras and they are still showing cameras there. Last Wednesday you wondered about removing the TomTom ones - did you remove them, because if not, they would be warning you? _________________ Dennis
Thank you Dennis, yes my map was from last weekend not the wednesday, I'll update it again this weekend. I also removed the tomtom maps last week, just leaving on this forums database.
