Well, having got a refurbished XL IQRoutes for one of the girls from Total PDA - for the reasonable price of £107 inc Free case, I was resigned to having a 6 month old map as that is the deal with them - last quarter 09 map provided with the unit.
But...
When Home had installed the latest software, I tried the LMG button and....bingo! Congrats etc, you have a new map - the latest, which i have now installed.
It gets better though...
I'd made a new account for my girl's new Sat Nav and when later I plugged in my own 920, noted below on a different account but the same computer, would you adam and eve it, they've given me the new map too! just after my old deal expired as well. That and the latest Work software (i'd manually downloaded Work previously, as noted below.)
Anyone else been so blessed by our Dutch friends? _________________ TT Go 920T

There was another thread where someone got a new map even though their 12 months Map Updates had expired... |

I got a free map using LMG when updating a work mates 720 late last year, the device had been in use for over 18 months but who is complaining if they want to give maps away for free! - Mike |
