Binatone A430

Hi, a friend of mine has a Binatone A430 not sure how long he's had it, it came with the maps n stuff already in it. it has a slot for an SD card and i was wondering what kind of software is in these models and if he gets an SD card what can he put on the SD card i.e tomtom7 - igo 8 - igo amigo , and if there is something he can put on the SD card along with these things to make it run the software, if anyone can point me or post a link in the right direction i would be very gratefull

If it came with the "maps n stuff already in it", then didn't it come with software already in it too?

Basically, is it working, but your friend wants to try running someone else's operating software on it, or is it not working at all?
