Noticed last night that they were installing new Specs camera's on both sides of the M11 m/way between Jct 8 Stansted Airport & Jct 9, for the new roadworks due to start very soon, although it looks like most of the work is nearer to Jct 8 Than Jct 9.
Noticed at least 3 sites on each side, although exact locations are difficult to tell, as i drive past each night when dark, maybe someone else may be able to verify exact points. |

I drove down that section last night & tried to note as many as I could, but it was dark.
Here's hoping I'm up for a lifetime subscription... please camera-gods! |

These camera's are now live as of Thursday night 12th Nov, are they logged onto the database yet??
FYI, they start about 1/2 mile after jct 8 Northbound (Stansted Airport) and run for around 4 miles, 3/4 camera's on Both sides of motorway and are 50mph average (Specs) |

Notice these camera's are not in the latest database although they have been active for over a week now, and have been installed since 5th Nov.
i find it difficult to log them as im driving through as i need to keep an eye on traffic as im driving a 44ton LGV and the lanes are narrow.
These works start 1/2 a mile northbound from Jct 8 and run for 4 miles, each way with 4 cameras each side, can you not just guesstimate the camera's for that section and add them to the database?? |

and then be inundated with complaints that the database is inaccurate... no data is better than incorrect data, isn't it?
we'd also get complaints from the user who's submission we used for not getting a lifetime sub. i wouldn;t award lifetime sub if the data was innacurate so if used as it currently is (i.e. with no confirmation of accuracy) then they wouldn;t qualify for the free subs.

I have just submitted the 8 SPECS cameras ( 4 up , 4 down ) I saw between junctions 8 and 9 on the M11 that I marked on my way through that section of road last Saturday.
I HOPE that they are accurate as I could only use the 'Mark location of map error' button to drop a marker on my 730 as I drove along.
At the very least they may confirm camera submissions by others. _________________ Keith

Ok, downloaded new database yesterday & went past these camera's twice last night, the warnings appear to be about 1/2 a mile out, had already gone past 1st camera northbound and didnt get a warning until almost on 2nd camera!!
If someone can tell me how to log a camera on a nuvi 265w, whilst driving i'll give it a go as i pass these 5 nights a week. |

if you tap on the car icon (or arrow) it will save it as a favourite. or you can press the map to get the 2d overhead view then press 'save' on there.
