Extension cable to TomTom wired silver

Hello!

I'll need a extension cable to my Tom Tom GPS (wired, silver).
Where can I buy one? Or if I'll do it myself, where to get information about the pin connectors on the rj11 cable?

Is it the TomTom silver same GPS and cable as in the Leadtek 9532?

You can use any fully wired RJ45 network cable for that (straight, not crossover) and a 8 pin gender bender. Only the inner 4 pins are needed.

(If you want to go cheap you can also use a RJ11 phone style extension cable but this may sit loose in the 8 pin gender bender)

What about the 4 conections? Where can I find some data about them, so that I don't make any mistakes?

How does a rj45 extension fit with my Ipaq 3630 car cable? I think I have to use a rj11 cable/socket?
