Reality View - MN6?

Hi Everyone,

Just bought a PNA from a friend with MN6 (version 6.1 build 555) installed. I was just wondering how Reality View works and if it can be installed with my version of MN.

You need at least version 6.5, and you need the appropriate .jct file for your maps.

I have a TS7000T - is it possible to put the 6.5 maps and therefore reality view on here?

I get the feeling the maps for this model are 6.0 (the application is MN6.exe) but not sure if it's possible to upgrade.

I don't mind Reality View, I am just pleased I didn't buy it.

With lane advisor you get a pictogram show the lanes that you should be in and a dynamic GPS display of the road.

With Reality View it then switches to a Static display of the motorway. It gives you no clue as to where you actually are. You have to make your road position match the Reality but you lose the GPS distance to go etc. I don't know, but I miss the dynamic view. As you get into a complex junction you are on your own.
