Well i lined up outside the local Aldi this morning to guarantee my new pocket pc (I got 2 one for a relative). I have messed around with it all morning and it seems much better than the old one (which I still have). Firstly it is smaller (although screen is same size). The annoying battery cover on the old one has been replaced and I cant see this one falling off. It has a charging indicator that goes from flashing green to flahing orange and flashing red. It comes supplied with Medion Navigator V3.1a 2004 maps, more games than the older one and Davideo software (which I cant seem to work yet-keeps telling me dvd is coded). It has a new style charger & car holder as its slimmer. The carry case no longer has belt clip though (I suppose they think as its smaller you wont need it). It comes with just one MMC which is ok for satnav (my other card is still in box-never used) but with the davideo software you will need another mmc. There is no headphones this time (old ones still in box anyway)
I have installed poi-warner and the speed cameras from this site and did a little test with the old one by starting programmes at the same time and
the new one started poi-warner faster, the old one started medion navigator faster. All in all a much better improvement and for less price than the old one. This one looks and feels better too.

Davideo software is telling you there is copyright protection on the DVD you are trying to copy - and it won't copy it.

I've tried it on a few some have copied OK - to get good quality you'll need a lot of disk space for a full film 200 megs ish.
