iPaq2210 TT3 & BT GPS confusion

I know this has been mentioned in other threads but I am still confused about whether to upgrade to TT3.
I actually ordered and paid for the upgrade without realising there was a problem and now don't know if it is safe to upgrade.

It would seem that reading threads on this forum that some people are using 2210 & BT gps and TT3 without a problem but others are reporting issues.

How can that be?

On the TT site there is a 3.02 "fix" for 2210 & BT gps.

Has anyone used this combo and how does it perform.
Or do I just stick with TT2 until a definate fix is released.

Any clarifcation would be appreciated

The true culprit hasn't been found yet. It may well be a port timing issue that affects some 2210s but not all. So you may be lucky or not.

If you do not desperately need the MRE and the itinerary then you can stick with 2.24 until the fog settles.
