Just downloaded the latest version. When I start the app I now get a message that there are no maps activated. Anybody else got this problem?

Just had the following reply from Navmii support:-

Choose to view installed maps - click on the un-activated map - register with your iTunes email address.

Sorry this isn’t made clear anywhere in the documentation.

Full marks for the quick response, zero marks for user experience!

And still no sign of the option to update the PGPSW cameras in-app.

Actually........routing seems to have improved quite a bit in the new version.

It also includes automatic day/night mode and detours.

Moving in the right direction for sure. Embarassed

I bought Navmii 1.3 for the first time yesterday and I'm quite impressed so far, can't go wrong for the money!

Since I'd never had a version that did not require map activation it all seemed logical to me to go to the map and activate it, I can see if you'd never done it previously it could be confusing.

Previously I've used TomTom Navigator 6 on a PDA and an old TomTom one, so advanced features such as lane guidance I don't miss since I've never had them. I did however, exchange a few emails with them yesterday with a list of features I like to see and they all seem to be in the scope of their development roadmap :-)

It's refreshing to see a company that replies to email queries in hours rather and you getting a stock "we aim to answer your query in xx days"
