I went to submit some average speed cameras today that are about to go live on the A27.
On your submission page it is showing specs already in the relevant area but they have a ? on the picture. What does this mean? Are they awaiting verification. If they are, I can verify they are there . I was a bit miffed actually - as they're not live yet I thought I might be the first to submit |

The ? means the speed is currently unknown. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ahhh thanks Darren.
I suspect it will be 50 as it's a roadworks (through to December 09 ) average speed but appreciate you can't guess.
I'm back past there on Monday so I'll see if they've put the speed signs up. |

I thought the same when I submitted on Thursday .........when the posts were up with the camera's pointing downwards.......
They are infact 40mph (the same as before when they did the central reservation) which i mentioned in my "additional details" comments..... |

So, who will get the "first accurate report" status?
The one with the empty poles?
The one with the cameras installed but not in use?
Or the one with the actual speed limit in place?
(any or all of which might be in a more or less accurate position!)
MaFt doesn't have an easy job with this database management! |

Came through this morning - everyone behaving themselves.....
But in saying that we came back from two weeks away on Saturday and they were all uncovered pointing at the lanes and the 40mph signs were in place then so who knows |
