Hi,
I have a 540 that works well with my Blackberry for hands-free calling. However, due to a security restriction imposed by my IT department I can't transfer the phonebook to my TomTom, fair enough.
I can't see any way of editing the phonebook directly on the TomTom. Is there a file I can edit on my SD card so I can put some numbers in manually?

You can go to this link for a spreadsheet to complete and save your data in a contacts.txt file that goes in a contacts folder on your unit. _________________ David

Anyone trying this, do please note that dhn's instructions are correct.
The spreadsheet itself still has instructions to put the final "contacts.txt" file onto the root of your TomTom's storage, but every TomTom I've got and every backup I've got of all my devices has the contacts.txt file in the "contacts" folder, NOT in the root directory......
