Is something else displayed when you get the alert, such as grey blob? If so reduce the number of POI categoreies to below 256. If not can you descibe what you see with more detail?
You are loading the BMPs with the CSV files? Has each CSV file got a corresponding BMP with EXACTLY the same name? |

It literally is a grey rectangular box with words like "Gatso1276534." I've just installed the Camara Manager so hopefully this will transfer the small icons - I'll go for a drive tomorrow and let you know how I get on! Thanks for the reply Paul!

Paul,
looking at your download history you downloaded the wrong version! the GPX files are for older devices that do not use POILoader. I see then you downloaded AUS/NZ POILoader files which is what you need.
howwever, camera manager ONLY does UK cameras so your AUS/NZ cameras will have been wiped out...!

Thanks for all your replies.
I have 2 Garmin devices - A Garmin Quest which I have had a long time and is the reason I have downloaded the older file versions, (though I am yet to try it as I only use my Quest for my bike now) and the Nuvi 765, which is the database I am having problems with - I have been for a drive with my Nuvi and the icon appears ok however the box shows up some gobbldygook, yet the video showing how to install the database shows something along the lines of "Speed Camara 40mph"
Am I doing something wrong or is this normal for the Australian download?
Regards

If it's something like
GATSO:12345@50
that's the camera type, ID number in the database and speed. |

That's it, you're dead right. Is that the way it is or can I change it to be somewhat more specific like in the video tutoral?
Sorry for sounding dumb, but I am!

Hi
If I use the GPX files, then I get what you're talking about and that's meant to be like that. If I load CSV files, then I get a warning box with '40 mph speed limit' instead of 'Gatso@12444:50'. As far as I know this is meant to be like that. Read more at:
