Hey Y'all - I run an XDA2 as a one stop shop phone, e-mailer etc etc. I'm in the market for a GPS navigator system. A colleage has TT2 and is very pleased with it etc - but reading the threads others are not so happy with the TT3?

I'd like the kit to (a) prevent arguements in the car about who is reading the map properly (b) get us about northern france/florida very occasionally and (c) give me some idea (only a perhaps here) where I am on a hike with the local Scouts?

I have been recommended TT3 plus Fortuna clip on - and i'd like to run these on bluetooth.

Any advice welcomed! (well almost)

The Navigator 3 issues largely relate to address lookup. I'm hopeful that, following my "Open Letter" that TomTom will come up with a fix for this. They have said that they're looking at it.

There are also ongoing problems with Bluetooth GPSes when used on an iPAQ 2210 with Navigator 3 - I'm less sure what is happening with that, though I hope that TomTom are aware that Navigator 3.01 / GPS 3.02 isn't the fix it was originally proclaimed to be for those problems. There don't seem to be the same Bluetooth GPS issues on any other Pocket PC.
