For some reason, out of the blue, this morning, my Tomtom Home won't connect with my TT 930. I've rebooted everything, as that usually clears most issues, but not this time. The TT 930 appears in My Computer and I can manipulate the files as usual. Home is sitting in the system tray, and when I connect the 930, Windows starts by asking to check the file system, which I have agreed to and everything was OK. Then Home starts but shows No Device Connected. At the same time the Auto Play dialogue pops up with a list of options, the top of which is Start TT Home, so I click Yes, OK the UAC, then I get Do You Want To Download And Install TT Home. No I b***** well don't - the latest TT Home is already in my system tray.
Prior to this everything's been working fine for the year I've had the 930. Does this sound like anything that can be easily fixed? Thanks

Yes, I forgot to mention I've tried the papar clip, thanks.
What I seem to be left with is a fully functioning 930 that connects to the computer and shows up in My Computer, etc. I also have an apparantly fully functioning TT Home that does everything except connect with the 930. |

Can you try uninstalling the Home application and reinstalling? _________________ David |

I had this happen to me yesterday when I tried to connect my 730T.
Pressed the reset button and everything was back as it should be.
Why it happened I don't know..................but it's back working now , so who cares. _________________ Keith

Thanks for the suggestions but, I'm still struggling with this - am I the only one who is suffering with this? I just updated the speed cameras OK. But TT Home doesn't know the 930 is connected.
Well, that's not quite true, TT Home knows the 930 is connected, because it starts up from the system tray, but it shows No Device Connected in the bottom right hand corner. |
