|
|
Today, whenever I click the [+] to expand a category on the free POI page.. instead of expanding the category it's just opening a new blank tab in my browser.
Tried firefox and IE
Anyone else getting this / know whats going on?
I've never had problems before and don't think any of my settings have changed. |

The POI downloads page is working fine when I just tried it using IE7 you could try logging out and back in again to see if that alters anything - Mike |

Hi philomeena, You are lucky! sometimes I can't even manage to get to the "+" sign. Normally though, after several attempts by clicking the "Refresh" button and a bit of patience waiting for the page to refresh fully, your POI choice should be displayed.

I get this problem as well from time to time.
I just leave it and come back a few hours later.
It may be due to a number of factors, including amount of traffic using the site, I don't know. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Finally managed to get it working in IE7 by rolling back the latest Java update. Still won't work in Firefox.
There must be an error in the scripting somewhere cos like I said.. no other websites are a problem. |

I never used to have a problem, and often used to suggest people try Firefox when they had difficulties. But then a few weeks ago I started having occasional periods where no categories appear at all, despite several refreshes.
Without changing anything at my end, it eventually comes good.
It's an ongoing oddity, and loads of people comment on it, but if the people running the site never have any problems accessing it, it's hard for them to troubleshoot. |
