Map version 830.2305
app 8.351
Tomtom720

I went for a drive at the weekend, when I have traffic enabled the display flashes constantly, turn traffic off map display is fine.

Since the last update. My spooken warnings for speed camera have als stopped apart from the traffic lights.

I reselect all the sound and tested.

The .ogg files are in the map folder and in the voices folder.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

The screen flicker every 10-15 seconds is an issue I experience. It is a known bug in the latest version of navcore 8.351.

Ogg files for POI and camera warnings should be in the named map folder ('Western Europe' or whatever) OR the "sounds" folder, but not both, and never in the "voices" folder.

Delete them from the voices folder and try the normal POI "warn when near" setup again. The ogg file SHOULD be automatically selected (i.e. the device moves straight from the distance setting to the "warn only when on route" tickbox... without asking you about sound). Check whether that works by running a demo route past a camera on the map (keep the demo route below 200%).

If that doesn't work, move the .ogg files to the "sounds" folder and try the setup again. This time the ogg warnings should appear in the normal Sound effect selection page for you to choose.
