This release fixes a bug that was in the last release when converting geocaching.com pocket queries it was getting stuck in a loop if there was an error in the HTML code of the geocache. This has been fixed.
Also added:-
The ability to import a geocaching.com Pocket Query Zip file without needing to extact the files with in it.
If you import in this way then both main caches and additional waypoints (e.g., car parks) are merged into one category and the additional waypoints appear under their parents in the POI Menu.
Trackable Items are now included in the POI description.
I think a big well done to Satmap for really listening to users and getting on board with making a number of enhancements since the 1.2 release and I think they have got it to a point that makes it a brilliant product for geocaching. By the way I don't work for them but I have been really impressed with thier development team and credit where credit due. Would you get this from Garmin, doubt it. |

Yes agreed,Satmap seem to have really got on top of their game recently.
I think for geocaching it must now be the unit of choice although I must admit I do find the whole POI procedure a bit fiddly sometimes.
The Active 10 is developing into a market leading unit IMHO.
Garmin should be worried ( at least in the UK anyway ).
