Hello,
I have just got a dell axim x3 and i am trying to link to my PC with ActiveSync. i have installed the software from the disc and when it asks me to connect my PDA to the PC with the USB connector i starts by saying 'connecting' and then it stops. When i try to connect again it says device not found.
Any advice please??

Normally you need to start the ActiveSync install without having the PocketPC in the cradle... - check your device manager for any stray USB devices that you may need to delete before trying again. _________________ Lutz

I had a similar problem, but when i updated to the latest version of activesync (3.7.1) it solved the problem of connection.I have alse found the operating system on the PC makes a difference too,Windows me losses the connection quite often, but when i upgraded to XP on my desktop and Win2000 on my laptop all the connection/usb problems stopped |
