Hi all,

When using TTN 2 / TT BT and Media player, after a few minutes GPS freezes on one position and doesn't move any more although the GPS signals are there all red. Both applications run separately with no prob.

Many thanks for your help.

I do not have BT, only a wired GPS unit, but I have noticed that TT2 does not work very well at all with media player going, if just looking for locations etc. It must use up too much memory or something.

Thank you SteveW for your reply. It is very strange, it worked perfect with my previous GPS Navman. My friend has a CF GPS and he noticed the same prob.

Any in case I discovered any solution I'll poste it here.

have the same problem. i thought previously that it might be because i use a bluetooth, but if your friend is having the same problem with cf, then it's not the bluetooth. have you tried with the 3.02 gps driver? and what pocketpc are you using? my details are as below.

As the fix for the problem that led TomTom to put a mention on the Navigator 3.01 page about 2210s is GPS 3.02 and Navigator 3.01, it would seem reasonable to try GPS 3.02 (and Navigator 2.24 if you're still on Navigator 2) and see if things are better.

It would also seem wise to discard any add-on programs like CheckPOInt or GPSAssist and see if things are any better without them.

However, your issue may be a loss of Bluetooth connectivity between the GPS and the Pocket PC - which, in turn, could be related to CPU usage. Pocket PCs do have limited processor power (not least for battery life reasons) - and both decoding media files and satellite navigation can be very processor intensive.

It has some sens what you are explaining. I haven't tried it without Checkpoint. It may works. I'll post the result later on.
Only one point to mention, that the freeze occures after 15-20minutes and not immediately after the launche. If that helps some how.
