It's not working for me either tonight.
That page can often be a bit tricky to get the categories to appear. Usually either hitting "Refresh" a few times or switching browser from Firefox to IE or back the other way seems to fix it. But tonight I can get the categories showing for the UK of for other countries in the list, but if I select the United States I get nothing (even if I select the ?United States AND the UK I get nothing.
PGPSW did have some server problems earlier today, it might be connected. |

I've alerted the team to the problem - I'm getting the same thing here. _________________ Gerry

Hi,
Tonight for my TomTom One I purchased the United States maps from TomTom (ready for when I go away on holiday to Florida).
So now I've still got my existing "United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland" dir as well as new "United_States" dir.
I've downloaded the relevant pocketgps usa speed zoned poi's but they don't show up when I operate my One.
All the pocketgpps uk speed camera poi's are visable.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks,
Lee. |

Have you:
1. Put the USA POI files in the American map's folder not the UK one?
2. Switched to the US map?
3. Gone through either the "show POI on Map" setup, or (if you want warnings) the "Warn when near POI" setup, just as you must have done for the UK ones? |

Yes, I confirm I definitely did copy the pocketgps us files into the United_States dir.
What steps do i have to do to switch maps?
Thanks,
Lee. |

A quick google search has shown that I need to go to Change Prefs/Manage Maps/Switch Maps.
I'll give that a go later. |

That's right, switching maps is the only way to see America at all!
You will still need to go through one or both parts of my step 3 to see them on the map and/or get warnings for them.
Instructions to do that are in parts 5 and 6 HERE and the instructions for optional voice warnings are HERE (works for v8 software too)
....or there's an alternative method which I find easier, HERE, take your pick! . |

Doing Prefs/Manage Maps/Switch Maps did the trick.
I could then set up my pocketgps usa speed camera pois.
Thanks. |

Exactly as first post (& 2nd) in this thread - select USA and there are no categories to select.
Has this problem reoccurred or is it still not fixed? |

Selecting any other country for POI download, produces a list of categories to select but if USA is selected, IE reports "Error on page" and no categories are displayed. |
