Registered it, downloaded new maps but can see no indication I have lifetime maps?
Gadget seems to work, voice sometimes is male, sometimes female?, keeps a track you can view in mapsource (installed with the map update on your pc) and has stereo speakers built in.
Have you driven with your 865 yet? The Nuvi needs to record that it has been used over 30mph and it will generate an iFix no. which Garmin use to determine the date and time or First Fix.
I registered my Nuvi before driving and Garmin couldn't tell when it was first used but their Tech Support sorted within a few mins - had to email a copy of the receipt _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70
