Favourites database

Hi folks, I'm a new TT3.01 user. Where is the favourites data stored on the PPC (WM2003)? I want to back it up for when I ineveitably have to do a hard reset for ROM upgrades etc (Loox 600).

You are better off saving the favourites as POIs and they can sit on your storage card. Thay way you don't loose them if you do a hard reset. I learnt this the hard way...! Sad

If it's the same as Navigator 2 (sorry to keep on like this - but I haven't yet got a copy of Navigator 3, and can only answer in the hope things haven't changed), the settings are in the TomTom Navigator Settings folder in My Documents.

That means if you synchronise Files using ActiveSync, the data will be synchronised to your PC.

However, I'm in agreement that using a personal POI file is better - that way, if something goes wrong and your settings files are corrupted, you won't lose your favourites.
