|
|
Hey all,
Just a quick one and apologies if this has been already covered, although I did a search for 'Red Icon' and it came back with 1644 matches?
Anyway, have uploaded some POI's to my Go 520 (the 5 PGSW Speed Camera one and about 3 or 4 custom ones), but for some strange reason one of them is a Red block icon?
Have checked on the TT iself and the icons are all correct, so whats going on?
any idea's? |

This can happen if your icon file and the POI file have different names. They must match up EXACTLY, the only difference being that one is .OV2 and the other is .BMP.
Have a closer look at them and make sure when you do so that you have Explorer set to show all file extensions. _________________ Dennis

That means you don't have a .bmp file for that POI, or if you do it doesn't have exactly the same name. In those cases you will get the default icon which is the one you describe. _________________ TT Go Essential |

Hmmmm, Strange that as its the PGSW Gatso one?
Never ever had a problem with any of the camera files or POI's before, just on this new 520?
Will have a closer look later on and make sure.
Thanks all for the quick replies! |

Could be as simple as a corrupted file if it is present? _________________ Darren Griffin |

As you are reporting the problem with a PGSW Gatso icon, it is probably a corrupt one. I had a similar problem when creating my own icon for my company. The naming was correct but the icon was not the correct size. That mean the POIs I created came up with the default.
All you need to do is reinstall the icon file(s) from the PSGWS download. _________________ Steveee

Have copied across another one and TT went a bit bizarre where it thought it would mix all the icons and names up?
So soft reset it and thankfully all back to normal for now........ |
