540 / x40 Battery Life?

Just wondered what everyone else was experiencing with the battery life of the new 540 / x40 range?

On battery life, i get about 2 Hrs at which point I get the "Battery too low to connect" type message then no LIVE services, followed by a further 15min before it switches off completely.

That sounds about normal to me, the device is supplied with a car charger cable and it is supposed to be used with the device - treat the battery as a small reserve power source when the cars ignition is off or when using the device at home - Mike

About to say the same. I had one for a week - waiting for the replacement - and i found a couple of hours was about right.
