Woolworths/ Zavvi removal

Should the Woolworths POI be removed now as they have gone bust? And the other retailers similarly ie Zavvi etc etc??

I requested that the local Woolies was removed a week or so ago on the submission page and it's been dealt with. I suppose a major cull would be fairly easy to do by the keepers of the database.

Yeah thats what im trying to avoid, individual removes of stores we know have shut for good. One big 'cull' as you put it, to clean up the database!

I think that these POIs should be kept on the database, for now at least, because we know that the likes of Woolworths and Zavvi etc have been shut down. Also if contractors and other such people are required to do work at any of the various closed sites then they may still need to download the POIs for directions to those premises.

As and when (or if) any of the old Woolworths and Zavvi etc stores are taken over then the individual POIs should be amended.

Perhaps after 6 or 12 months the POIs could be deleted.
