Change Preferences/ Safety Preferences and make sure "Show Safety reminders" isn't selected, this is the usual cause of that annoying screen - Mike |

On my 530 I get the disclaimer message after every full reboot and I cannot get rid of it. The safety message setting for me just disables this message on a normal turn on. _________________ Drivelux |

This seems to have happened since 8.300.
If you connect the device to your PC and subsequently disconnect it, or reboot it for any other reason, the message will appear. _________________ Andy

I've never had this happen with 8.300, 8.301 or 8.320 on my 520 with 815.2003 maps.
I inadvertently disconnected the device from my pc yesterday without correctly using the Safely Remove Hardware icon and I didn't get anything out of the ordinary. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. If you eject your device in My Computer first, you shouldn't get the problem. _________________ TT Go Essential |
