POI onto a TOMTOM GO 530

I have bought a tomtom go530 and want to put all the poi form this website onto it
However I can not work out how to get these on to my new sat nav tomtom go530

can any one help me and explain how i get them from the downloaded file to the internal memory of the sat nav.

I have removed your email address, responses to your query should be posted here for the benefit of everyone and it is a bad idea to post your email address anyway, it'll be deluged by SPAM.

If you follow the first part of the speed camera database install guide here the exact same process applies to standard POIs as it does speed cam POIs.

You won't be able to download ALL our POIs because there are far more than your device can accommodate. Be selective about those you need.

If you follow up to and including Step 4 you should be there.

The last time I counted, you could add 169 of your own POI categories to a Go530.
A category is something like "Swimming pools" and each category can have thousands of individual entries.

The 169 figure includes any TomTom or PGPSW speed camera files and also any MapShare POI additions (but they seem to have been quitely forgotten about by TomTom!)
