change icon for v6.75 tomtom pda

was looking at changing the arrow icon on my tt v6.75 on a pda but noticed that it mentions it can only be done on tomtom go etc is their a work around? or just stick to the boring old arrow?

The TomTom Navigator 6 application cannot accept custom car icons, the newer version 7 software can do this but is only available on specific phones made by HTC - Mike

Thanks Mike, bit of a disappointment. Thought you might be able to swap the icon in the program folder somewhere for another bmp.

Do you know if they are going to do version 7 for pda with windows mobile.?

I have no idea if TomTom have any plans to release a PDA software version for general use, if they do I would expect it to be limitted to a specific range of PDA's though - Mike
