I'm waiting on a brand new 940 to arrive, but when it does i will obviously want to use the LMG on it. I know some people have only managed to get one of their maps updated, but some have argued with tt support to get all of the maps updated.
Just wondered who has managed to get all the maps updated? _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

I got a 920 and TT Home automatically updated the American and European maps - no intervention required. |

You are assuming that your unit will not come with the latest maps on it and as they have been out since early November, they may well come installled if yours is a recently manufactured unit.
Mine updated all maps on the LMG without any additional intervention. _________________ Drivelux |

My 940 purchased just over a week ago had out-of-date maps on, and I had no problem using the LMG to update both the EU and US maps (took about 5 hours as it's about 3.5GB of data) |

I'm the same as snoopstah, purchased my 940 about a week ago and as soon as I loaded TT home to my PC and checked for LMG via "Tools" on the tool bar (of TT Home), I managed to update both the UK / W. European and the North American map data. It did take a few attempts as the downloads were keep crashing, but I eventually got there |

When my 940 arrived the LMG updated both maps without problems, I did make sure that I was running the latest version of Home before attempting the update. |
