HI

When do TomTom release new up-to-date maps? I'm looking at buying a new TomTom after X-mas and it know you get guaranteed latest maps when you purchase it. If new maps are available you have 30 days to update all maps for free. When where the maps updated last and when will they be updated next.. any ideas?

It's a case of "how long is a piece of string?", I'm afraid.

Historically, though, maps for the x20 range have been released every few months:

v810 23 Sep 2008

v805 2 Jul 2008

v720 14 May 2008


If you're not in a great rush, perhaps you could wait until the next new maps are announced - either that, or just use Latest Map Guarantee to obtain the current latest version.
