I'm about to buy an HP2210 from globalpositioningsystems.co.uk, and notice they offer a factory refurbished one at a saving of £25 over new.
Does anyone have any experience of refurbished PDA's? Are they worth considering and what history are they likley to have had? I'm sure they will look 'as new', but will any of the components have had a hard life, and not last as long as a new one?
Would be most grateful for any advice!
Thanks. _________________ FS N520+TTN5 |

For the sake of £25 I would go for a new one. Then you would have the full guarantee. _________________ Make Traffic Wardens/attendants Redundant.

Most refurbs are in fact repacks - from returns. Typically they'll have been tested and repaired if necessary.
So long as the warranty is the same (it should be) then your choice.... £25 in your hand to spend on software/SD cards or not. |

I own a re-furb 5555, but if the price difference had only been £25, I'd have gone for brand new one. _________________ Tim |
