While the regular release of camera data is to be commended, can I suggest that rather than saying,
"This release sees 115 static and mobile speed cameras added/modified across the various speed camera databases"
Could you highlight at least the country/s involved as if this lot are primarily overseas, then I won't bother to download on this occasion, but if the UK are in there, then I will. Thanks.

I think you can safely expect there to be some UK changes - otherwise I've been wasting my time verifying camera reports for the past couple of years. Although my performance is directly related to how much business travelling I do, I can't recall a single week when I haven't verified at least one camera report. Liar!! But I did verify a Mobile camera on my way home from Cardiff airport after my last holiday.
Since last week's release, included in today's release are several new specs cameras on the M5 near Cheltenham and just before the release today I verified removal of the specs cameras on M4 J14 to J13. A redlight in Bristol, mobiles in Usk, Warminster and London. That's over a dozen changes from my reports alone and there are other Verifiers out there beavering away most days.
However, with the timescale and workloads involved in maintaining and publishing the database, I think it's asking too much to get the sort of information you're asking for. Having said which, the notification email also contains a link to the complete list of camera numbers by country - if this bothers you, you could start now by looking at and noting details from that page, then doing a similar look next release to see what numbers have changed.
Frankly, downloading and installing a new release takes me so little time and effort (and I have three devices to handle) that I download every new release without wondering whether there are few or many differences and I'd strongly recommend you do the same. Remember, the one you miss could be the one that doesn't miss you!! Is ten minutes' work too much bother compared with 3 points and £60? _________________ Dennis
