Hi
Just got a 540, this was a replacement for a faulty 520 which went back to amazon. I have emailed tt support with the device number change for my account.
Until they make this change, what will happen if I attached it to my pc with tt home, which obviously has my old device id attached to my account?

I have a gprs traffic sub (defunct with a 540 I presume) and that map updates subscription to be transfered to the new device id.

Will I be able to do the latest map guarantee update before I hear from back support

Thanks for any advice

If you had the 520 for more than 6 months, you should get the option to change your account to the attached device. If you can do that before support do anything, LMG should be possible

You should be able to go int your account and change the device.

Does TT Home say "Error when contacting server. You cannot change your device code at this time. Your device code can only be changed once every six months. Please contact customer support if you require any assistance."?

I spoke to support & they asked for a copy of my invoice. Might take a couple of days to switch over, but they are fairly helpful.
