Although I don't use my TT everyday I thought I would try it out yesterday after all the installing and uninstalling of app & maps etc. etc.
I have tried in the past month.
I was taking a short trip yesterday about 60 KL so I thought I would take my tt for a test drive and while taking it to my destination on a major HWY it wanted to take me off the HWY at one exit and then straight ahead and back on the the same hwy I was on ?
This would make a very long trip if it did this at every 10th exit or so and I would think you would soon want to trash your unit.[/b] _________________ Go 920

Sounds like a map error, not unknown. How current are your maps? _________________ Darren Griffin |

at the moment I am using N/A 8.10.
I haven't been to EU since I bought my TT so can't say what it would act like there. _________________ Go 920

This happens in the EU as well. Using GO920 + map 720 it regularly tried to divert me off the A10 (Brussels to Calais) at J14 and then direct me back onto A10 at J14! It does this in both directions
Upgraded to map 815 so will see if this error still exists next week. _________________ Steveee

I think it tends to happen more often if you have selected "shortest route" too. |

I chose the fastest route in this case,I called TT support and they did a test on the route with 8.10 map and the same thing happened .
I will try and install app 8.30 & NA 8.15 map on SDHC card and give that a try. _________________ Go 920

As with garcor I was using fastest route. I wonder whether IQ Routes will cause this to happen more often If the motorway has a predicted snarl up, will IQ Routes direct us up the slip road and back on again? _________________ Steveee

The upgrade to Navcore 8.30 and map WE8.15 seems to have fixed the navigational error on A10 (Brussels to Calais) at J14. It now tells me to go straight on at the junction. _________________ Steveee
