Roads

This isnt so much a street as more a spelling. In TTN2 both KingsCross Road and another Kings Avenue in Woodford Essex were both spelt King'S Cross Road and King'S Avenue........

When I first went to type in Kings Cross Road and Kings Avenue I couldn't find it until I typed in a road near there and then moved the map about and realised they had made a spelling mistake. It was very frustrating and very annoying to say the least.

Has this been corrected in TT3 does anybody know?

Trued it for you Howard in my copy of TT3 and the software doesn't enen find Woodford let alone the addresses you mention

pretty crap really isn't it?

I suspect I would be able to find it in map mode is i knew where it was - but doesn't that sort of defeat the point of having this software in the first place??

Hmmm - starting to wonder if I have treated myself to a rather expensive white Elephant and got carried away with the coolness of the gadget - I bought it as a tool for my american wife to find and get to places (and return home safely) by herself without me along. It now seems that mostly the software will do this (as long as she does not need to go to Woodford, or much more importantly a place she may go to - Whitny) I am rather disappointed, but have not yet lost heart totally
