Could anybody just confirm that the 760T displays both the speed limit of the road that you are currently on and the graphics display of the next turn (for instance, island with an arrow for 3rd exit) as it is not clear in the descriptions that I have read on numerous sites "inc Garmin's own".I am currently using a C510T with TTS added and these two features along with the TTS are a deciding factor in my decision as whether or not to upgrade. |

No it doesn't. For the Lane Assist Graphics you need a Nuvi 765T
For the Speed Limit Symbol you need the latest 2009 maps (the 2008 only covered limited motorways and A Roads). This does work with the 760T and the 765T |

Thanks for the reply, the graphics I am referring to are not the lane assist but the little box displayed (I think) in the top left corner of the screen on some models that I have seen, so I am just trying to confirm that this is on the 760T, before placing an order with Amazon. Regards |

You mean the ones that appear at the top left of the screen in the images on this page?
765T ONLY - it does NOT appear on the 760T |

And you should be aware that the 765 replaced the 760. _________________ Darren Griffin |

To clarify. I understand the lane assist that the 765T has but this is not what I am referring too. I have seen the 265WT in halfords and that unit displays both the speed limit icon(bottom left of screen) and the next turn(top left of screen)in the form of "for instance" if the next turn is the 3rd exit at an island it will display a symbol of an island with an arrow at the appropriate exit does the 760 do the same. |

To clarify.
I understand exactly what you are talking about. The icons that appear at the top right of the screen such as the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th pictures on this page
You are not referring to the screen that appears in the first picture.
The thing you refer to show shown below ringed in red. No?
Please note i understood this from the beginning and that is what i have based my answers on. Unfortunately i don't have a 765T and can't find a screen shot showing a roundabout but if you are referring to the lane assist / guidance / map / plan thing at the top left of the screen then the answer is still No.
The xx0 models do NOT have this.
The xx5 models do.
Note the 265WT does. the 765T does.
The 760T does not. |

Many thanks for the replys. Looks like it will have to be the 765T then as I have had this facility before on a Mio unit and it is a major help. I was looking at the 760 as Amazon have it at £180. however they are also advertising the 765T at sub £250 delivered "seems like a bargain to me".
We got there in the end
