Is it safe to assume I can move the North America map to my computer to free up space on my GO for mp3s? |

Yes you can do that, it was the first thing I did with mine, although putting a 6GB memory card in the slot was how I overcame music storage space - Mike |

SD cards are a waste of time these days, for the last 2 years I have only purchased the TransFlash Micro SD cards and when fitted in an addaptor they can be used in a standard SD slot.
Most mobile phones use the tiny little Micro SD so I had a spare 6GB card that came out of the addapter and now resides back in the 940 - Mike |
