can any one help,I have a Garmin Nuvi 660T and have downloaded speed camara data from this site, the problem is that I have ended up with a Win RAR file and no idea of what to do with it, how do I get the data onto my sat nav

The data is usually compressed in a normal "zip" archive which you can extract on a PC running Windows XP or Vista just by right clicking on it and selecting "extract all".

If you have previously downloaded WinRar (an alternative compression/decompression program) then it is quite likely to have "hijacked" the .zip file extension so it makes the PC think you need to un-zip using that program.

Check the three letter extension of the file you downloaded with Windows Explorer (you need to set Explorer to show file extensions in the Tools menu (Tools/Folder Options/View tab/ UN-tick "hide extensions for known file types))

If it is called something like "pgpsw-speed-cams-abcde.zip" then it is a standard zip file and you can either use WinRar to de-compress it, or just right-click as mentioned above.
After that, use the rest of the instructions HERE to install it to your Nuvi.
